Back on the Strip: After losing the woman of his dreams, Merlin moves to Las Vegas to pursue work as a magician, only to get hired as the frontman in a revival of the notorious Black male stripper crew, the Chocolate Chips. Led by Luther — now broke and broken — the old, domesticated, out-of-shape Chips put aside former conflicts and reunite to save the hotel they used to perform in while helping Merlin win back his girl.

“Back on the Strip” marks the directorial debut of Chris Spencer, known for his work as the creator and executive producer of “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and as the executive producer and writer of “Grown-ish.”
The film follows the journey of Merlin, portrayed by Spence Moore II, a young man who relocates to Las Vegas with the goal of pursuing his dream of becoming a magician after losing the love of his life. However, when a wardrobe malfunction exposes his physical attributes, he is recruited to join a well-known male revue group as their frontman.

This comedy explores a series of adventures as Merlin strives to achieve success as a magician, pursue his dream girl, and discover a sense of family along the way.
The impressive ensemble cast includes JB Smoove, Faizon Love, Bill Bellamy, Gary Owen, Raigan Harris, Piper Curda, and Spence Moore II himself. Chris Spencer expresses his excitement about directing this film, which he co-wrote, and working with such a talented cast.
