“It Lives Inside” revolves around a teenage girl named Samidha, also known as Sam, who struggles to fit in and conform to her peers’ expectations.
In her quest for acceptance, Sam distances herself from her Indian heritage and family, believing it to be an obstacle to fitting in. However, she soon realizes that she cannot escape her past, as it catches up with her in a terrifying way.
Sam finds herself facing a formidable battle when an ancient demonic spirit possesses her friend, infiltrating their very core. This malevolent entity not only attaches itself to her friend but begins to feed off their inner being.
As noted by Bloody Disgusting, the film delves into the nightmarish ordeal Sam must endure as she fights to protect herself and those close to her from this insidious supernatural threat.
